At Folk-Art-Hungary.com we take every precaution to make your transactions safe. Online purchases are handled by our authorized retailer, 2CheckOut.com.

The shopping cart system and the payment gateway system is provided by 2CheckOut.com. This option does not require you to have or sign up for a membership.
You can pay with credit card or by PayPal. Credit card transactions are processed immediately, but your card will be actually charged only after we have shipped your ordered items!

We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover/Novus, Diners Club and JCB and derivatives of those brands.)

After you place your order, you will receive an automatic e-mail letting you know that we have received your order and that your order is being processed.

Shipping

It's very important for you to understand, that every order will be shipped from Budapest, Hungary!

ALL ORDERS are shipped by priority mail within 72 hours after we have received your order.
In addition, shipping process will take around 5-15 days to reach the destination address (5-10 days inside Europe, 10-15 days to overseas).
We will do our best to ship the products as soon as possible.

Note: the delivery can take longer in case of a large order, or in case the ordered item(s) are not in stock (i.e. in case of products with "On Order" status).
To avoid any inconveniences, please contact us before placing a large order.

We pack the ordered items in a jiffy bag (padded envelope), which ensures that you will receive your order without damages.

For each order we charge a postage & packaging fee which depends on the value of your order as follows:

The final payable amount of your order will be calculated upon the checkout process, but you can easily pre-calculate it with help of the above table.
For example, if the total value of your order is 135 USD, you will pay 143.50 USD (135.00+8.50) upon checkout.

NO SHIPPING FEES on orders above 500 USD!!
